My name is Kathleen Swain and I am a scholar and writer. In 2022 I earned a Master of Arts in English from Arizona State University, and in 2021 I earned a Bachelor of Arts in English, also from ASU. My current academic research focuses on the intersection between the environmental humanities and disability studies, with an attention to the Anthropocene. My creative writing includes pieces of creative nonfiction, science fiction, and literary fiction, and I am currently working on several creative projects.
This website works as both a portfolio for my undergraduate, graduate, and current work, and a blog where I post on topics such as the environment, literature, and disability.
